Sukma (Chhattisgarh), Nov 30 (ANI): The 150th battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) demolished an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) that was detected near one of the three dummies of Naxals found by the company in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma on November 29. When the company was going towards Chintagufa area for area domination, they recovered three dummies of Naxals carrying fake wood weapons. Dharmendra Singh, 150th Battalion Commandant, CRPF said, “Three dummies were found with wooden weapons by our security personnel. They thought they were Naxals. We mistook it for Naxals at first and cordoned the area. Dummies were later removed with precautions. There was an IED with release mechanism near one dummy, it was demolished. It seems like a new strategy of Naxals to confuse forces & create panic.”
