1984 anti-Sikh riots case: Dwarka Court grants anticipatory bail to Congress leader Sajjan Kumar

New Delhi, Dec 21 (ANI): The Dwarka Court on Wednesday granted anticipatory bail to Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case. The court asked Kumar to furnish a personal bond and surety bond of Rs 1 lakh each. The court had on Tuesday reserved the order on anticipatory bail plea in the 1984 anti-Sikh riot case in which Sajjan is a prime accused. Sajjan Kumar’s lawyer Anil Kumar said that he is cooperating well with the investigation agencies and he is not behaving well is a mere allegation against him. Sajjan Kumar is accused of killing of five Sikhs -Kehar Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Raghuvender Singh, Narender Pal Singh and Kuldeep Singh during the infamous anti-Sikh riots of 1984.
