2-day-long exhibition inspires students to join Indian Army

Jammu (J and K), Aug 11 (ANI): The Indian Army organised an exhibition showcasing weapons and equipment used by the defence force, in Jammu. During the event, which aimed at motivating students to join armed forces, arms and ammunitions used during wars, counter-insurgency and operations were put on display. It also showcased Indian Army’s contributions towards nation-building. From schoolchildren to their parents, all were keen to take a look at the latest weapons and get a demonstration of their working. Some of the arms on display were- artillery guns, tanks, armoured vehicles, specialized equipments of bomb squads, RADARs and night vision helmets. A group of National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets and some college students also witnessed the two-day-long exhibition.
