45th day of curfew brings life to a standstill in Kashmir Valley

Srinagar, Aug 22 (ANI): Curfew and shutdown continued in the Kashmir Valley for the 45th consecutive day on Monday. All educational institutions, shops, public transport and other businesses are closed since July 9, a day after Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani was killed. Meanwhile, the state government has advised its employees to resume duties failing which they would not be given salaries for the month of August.
