Nalanda (Bihar), May 27 (ANI): Atleast eight people, including a minor, were charred to death and over a dozen sustained burn injuries after a bus went up in flames in Bihar’s Nalanda district. The injured were rushed to a local hospital. The fire broke out suddenly in the bus’ engine and spread rapidly, giving very little time for the passengers to escape. Local residents were the first to rush to the rescue of the passengers. Preliminary investigation showed that a malfunction in the engine caused the fire.
