Ahead of Punjab polls, border farmers lament over minimum crop price

Amritsar, Punjab, Jan 23 (ANI): As the assembly elections are approaching, a section of border farmers in Punjab have raised the issue of minimum support price for their crops. The farmers lamented that the political leaders make false promises during elections, but as soon as the elections are over the leaders never heed to woes of the Border area. The farmers said the upcoming government should focus on increasing the minimum support price (MSP), loan waiving and better education and health services in the area.
