Akshay Kumar celebrates one year of ‘Airlift’, says the film means ‘world to him’
New Delhi, Jan 22 (ANI): As Akshay Kumar’s 2016 blockbuster film ‘Airlift’ clocks a year today, the actor took down the memory lane to celebrate it. The Khiladi Kumar took to his Twitter handle to share his thoughts and posted a poster from the film, writing, “Every actor has one film which means the world to him… @AirliftFilm is just that for me! #1YearOfAirlift.” The film’s leading lady Nimrat Kaur too celebrated the one year of her film via Twitter handle. She too tweeted, “Really fortunate to have been a part of this journey…@RajaMenon @vikramix @akshaykumar #1YearOfAirlift #ForeverProud.” ‘Airlift’ which saw Akshay playing Kuwait-based businessman, earned Rs 123.5 million during its first day run on 2,500 screens in India. The film is still remembered for its strong script and power packed performances given by Khiladi Kumar and Nimrat.
