Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon and Scarlett Johansson celebrated the premiere of their animated comedy “Sing” at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday (September 11). The story centres around Buster, a Koala bear showbiz impresario played by McConaughey, who tries to save his floundering theatre by hosting a singing competition. His idea quickly spreads throughout the animal kingdom, attracting a wide range of contestants, from a mother of 25 piglets, played by Witherspoon, to a porcupine punk-rocker, played by Johansson. McConaughey said the best part about working on the film was getting to feel like a child again. The film was written and directed by Garth Jennings.
