Amu Issue Will Be Tackled If Put To Notice Of Pci, Says I&b Min

Reacting on the allegations hurled by AMU students on media for ‘negative’ coverage of its institute, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore assured that Press Council of India will arrive at a solution if the issue is put forward it.

Rathore said that while everyone knows about the conflict between AMU students and media, the matter has not reached the I&B ministry yet. He assured that when the matter would be put forward to the PCI, the body will definitely find out a solution.

 

The minister said that the issue must be sorted out by the appropriate authority.

 

When asked about government’s decision on FDI, Rathore dodged the question by asking the reporters to wait for some for days.
