South Korea conducts bomb and poisonous gas attack drills at a subway station in Seoul, as part of yearly contingency drills known as the “Ulchi Exercises”. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

South Korea staged a civil defence drill on Tuesday (August 23) to prepare for possible emergencies.

The drills are part of the yearly contingency “Ulchi Exercise”, which aims to test the country’s readiness against possible attacks.

About 160 personnel from the police, military, fire department, local government as well as Seoul Metro participated in the exercise which simulated a bomb and poisonous gas attack at the Yeouido subway station.
