Anurag Kashyap faces backlash for calling Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s attackers ‘Hindu Terrorists’
New Delhi, Jan 29 (ANI): Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has never shied away from expressing his thoughts and he did the same when Sanjay Leela Bhansali was assaulted by Rajput Karni Sena workers during ‘Padmavati’ shoot in Jaipur. However, looks like his tweets of concern have not gone well with some of the Twitter users, who blasted on him for calling Bhansali attackers ‘Hindu Terrorists’. The ‘Bombay Velvet’ director tweeted, “Hindu extremists have stepped out of twitter into the real world now.. and Hindu terrorism is not a myth anymore.” Here’s how twitter reacted to his statement. Workers of Rajput Karni Sena on Friday created ruckus and assaulted Bhansali on the sets of ‘Padmavati’, claiming that the film portrayed a much-celebrated Rajput queen in ‘poor light’.
