AP CM Chandrababu Naidu meets Finance Minister, demands more funds for state

New Delhi, Jan 18 (ANI): After participating in the curtain raiser ceremony of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) partnership summit 2018, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the national capital. During the meeting with the finance minister, CM Naidu demanded a special financial package, citing the revenue deficit which the state is facing after the bifurcation. The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister also invited Jaitley to attend the CII partnership summit to be held for three days from February 24 in Visakhapatnam. Meanwhile, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat also met FM Jaitley and requested some provision for the state in upcoming budget.
