Jorhat/Assam, Jan 16 (ANI): The people of Assam celebrated Uruka, the eve of Magh Bihu, in a grand manner on Saturday. Men and women partook in various rituals associated with Magh Bihu while soaking in the festive spirit. Magh Bihu or more appropriately Bhogali Bihu is one of the most important festivals of Assam which marks the end of harvesting season in the month of ‘Maagha’.
