Ben Affleck steps down as director of ‘Batman’
New Delhi, Jan 31(ANI): Hollywood heartthrob Ben Affleck has reportedly decided to step down from the directorial chair of the upcoming solo Batman movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, 44 year-old Affleck, who was all set to both star in and helm the project, was quite passionate about it, but however, had to leave the director’s chair, as he believed he is not able to give his 100% percent to both jobs. The ‘Live By Night’ star said, “It has become clear that I cannot do both jobs to the level they require.” The release date of ‘The Batman’ solo film is still undecided. Last year, Ben played the role of Dark Knight in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and ‘Suicide Squad’ and the actor is all set to reprise it in ‘Justice League’ releasing this November.
