British lawmaker: Trump a “bafoon”
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
British lawmakers debate a petition to ban U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump from Britain, over his remarks on Muslims.
Trump sparked outrage around the world in December 2015, when he said Muslims should be banned from entering the United States.
Gavin Robinson, a Democrat Unionist party member of parliament, slammed the billionaire businessman.

“So you don’t need a crystal ball to recognize that the person you are dealing with, may be a successful businessman, is also a buffoon and has the dangerous capability, the dangerous capability of saying the most obscene or insensitive things to attract attention.”
Labour parliament member Naz Shah, condemned Trump’s political tactics.

“Donald Trump is no more than a demagogue, he panders to people’s fears as opposed to their strengths.”
Conservative Victoria Atkins echoed that sentiment.

“Turning as I must to Mr Trump. His comments regarding Muslims are wrong. His policy to close borders if he is elected president is bonkers. And if he met one or two of my constituents in one of the many excellent pubs in my constituency, then they may well tell him that he is a wazzock for dealing with this issue in this way.”
Trump’s comments on Muslim’s came after 14 people died in a shooting spree in California by two Muslims whom the FBI said had been radicalized.
