BSE closes 65.94 points down on March 29

New Delhi, March 29 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 65.94 points down to stand at 24,900.46. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 18.10 points down to stand at 7,597.00. Prestige Estates Projects Ltd and Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 6.40% and 4.78% along with Indian Hotels Co.Ltd and City Union Bank Ltd with an increase of 4.66% and 4.61% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Jindal Steel and Power Ltd and Lupin Ltd with a decrease of 7.22% and 6.27% along with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Jubilant Life Sciences Limited with a decrease of 4.60% and 4.54% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 156.19 points at 17728.17 while the Banking sector is up 69.96 points at 17831.65 and the Realty sector is up 2.30 points at 1179.87. The Indian currency was down with 0.13% with Rs. 66.49 per dollar.
