Burnt female foetus found in garbage dump in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, April 30 (ANI): In a shocking incident, a burnt female foetus was found in a garbage dump in Raipur city of Chhattisgarh. According to eye-witnesses, the foetus was around seven months old. It was found lying in the garbage, along with medical waste from a nearby nursing home. It had over 80 percent burns; the skull, torso and an upper and a lower limb were intact. The spot, where the foetus was found, happens to be near the residence of two state ministers. Police reached the spot and sent the foetus for autopsy. Meanwhile, a social activist Mamata Sharma who visited the site, said it appeared to be a case of illegal abortion. State ministers Kedar Kashyap and Punnulal Mohile were not in Raipur when the foetus was found from near their homes. They could not be reached for comments.
