ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

A spacecraft carrying garbage and unneeded items undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) on Saturday (April 25).

According to NASA, the Progress 57 Spacecraft was unhooked from the ISS at approximately 0241 EST / 0641 GMT and moved a short distance from the space station.

NASA says on Sunday (April 26) the cargo vessel will begin its descent to earth and will break up as it passes through the earth’s atmosphere over the Pacific Ocean.

A new cargo ship called the Progress 59 spacecraft is going to be launched on Tuesday (April 29) from Kazakhstan to arrive at the ISS later that day.
