CM Raman Singh felicitates Start-up Chhattisgarh Grand Challenge winners
Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Sep 03 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh on Sunday felicitated winners of the Start-up Chhattisgarh Grand Challenge. The state government launched Start-up Chhattisgarh Action Plan in line with the center’s start-up action plan to encourage youths to bring more start-ups in the state. Boot camps were conducted under the first phase of the program. Youth entrepreneurs of 27 districts used this platform to submit their innovative ideas. Department of Commerce and Industry formed a screening committee that selected 36 best entries out of 3,858 submissions. These 36 Start-ups were felicitated by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh, who also interacted with the stalls of these participants during the exhibit. These Start-ups showcased their product, technology and services during the event. While addressing the gathering, Singh encouraged the young entrepreneurs and appreciated their unique efforts. He also said that government will extend support to youth to help them turn their ideas into commercial products. Along with acknowledging Department of Industries and CHiPS for their continuous efforts, Singh also appreciated Google for partnering with the state as ‘Trusted Partner’. The event is aimed at providing wings to aspiring entrepreneurs to help their dreams come true.
