Commuters remain stranded as fresh snowfall suspends traffic on national highway

Udhampur (J-K), Jan 25 (ANI): Traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway, the only road linking Kashmir Valley with the rest of the country, has been suspended due to heavy snowfall on Wednesday. Giving details, a truck driver said it’s been three days since they are stuck on the highway, adding no arrangements are being done from government’s end to provide water and food. The roads have become very slippery due to below freezing temperature.
