Cong Leader Murli Deora No More, Pm Modi Expresses Grief
Former Union minister and Congress leader Murli Deora left for his heavenly abode early this morning in Mumbai. He was suffering from cancer. Deora had been keeping unwell and was admitted to a hospital. He had been shifted back to his house just two days ago.

Deora’s mortal remains would be kept at the Mumbai Congress office, where party workers would pay their last respects from 12 noon to 2 pm. His last rites would be performed at Chandanwadi Crematorium later in the day.
His funeral will take place later today at around 4 pm. Several Congress leaders, including other party members are expected to attend the funeral.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences over the death of Deora. He tweeted- “A dedicated leader, Shri Murli Deora’s warm nature made him popular across party lines. News of his demise is saddening.”
