Dharamsala, Jan 19 (ANI): Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama on Tuesday left for a health check-up in the United States. Every year, the Nobel Peace laureate visits Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, for the check-up. Tibetan Prime Minister-in-exile, Lobsang Sangay, accompanied the Buddhist monk to the Dharamsala airport in Himachal Pradesh. 80-year-old Dalai Lama said the first day at the hospital will be spent getting a complete health check-up, followed by treatments that doctors will deem necessary. Speaking at the airport, the Dalai Lama said he had a minor problem in his eye and was not ill otherwise. He added that it was a routine check-up and during the course of the visit, he will also meet scientists at the Wisconsin University.
