Delhi Metro fares are set to increase for a second time this year from 10th October and it has become a serious matter of concern for people who are regular travelers of the metro in Delhi and NCR. Even Delhi government also seems to be against the move. While speaking to media, AAP legislator Sanjeev Jha has said that due to Delhi metro fare hike now the no. of vehicles on road will increase and metro ridership will eventually go down. Jha said that in any condition metro fair should not be increased.
