Sharing is Caring

Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Dec 21 (ANI): Amid the demonetisation woes, a vegetable market in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam has adopted cashless payment to ease the customers. The vegetable and fruit vendors are using Paytm application on their mobile phones to take payments from the buyers. Along with digital payments, the shopkeepers are also accepting cash. The buyers expressed joy over the initiative taken up by the market authorities. Many organisations and residents across the nation have moved towards digital modes of transactions after the Centre scrapped old notes of Rs. 500 and 1,000 last month.
