Denied hostel facility allegedly forced Pooja to end her life: Patiala Police
Patiala, Aug 21 (ANI): The Patiala Police on Sunday said that national-level handball player, Pooja, committed suicide as Professor Gursharan S. Gill didn’t provide her hostel and so case has been filed against him. Giving details, SHO Kotwali Gurpreet Singh Bhinder informed that Pooja’s father handed over the suicide note to them. In the suicide note addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Pooja allegedly wrote that she had to end her life since she was poor and could not afford to pay for the hostel facility. Pooja ended her life on Saturday after she was allegedly denied free hostel facility by the Khalsa College authorities. Pooja (20) was a student of BA-II and her body was found hanging in her room Saturday morning.
