Didn’t mean Hindustan only for Hindus, persecuted Hindus have right to seek shelter: PB Acharya
Guwahati, Nov 22 (ANI): Assam Governor PB Acharya on Sunday issued a clarification on his controversial remark over India being a nation for Hindus alone. Acharya said that his statement did not mean negatively adding that any Indian living elsewhere belonging to any religion, if being persecuted, can come to India and seek shelter. Acharya had sparked controversy by stating that Hindustan is for Hindus and that Hindus from different countries can stay here.
