Differently-abled glad over PM Modi’s appeal to address them ‘divyaang’

Ahemdabad/Kanpur, Dec 27 (ANI): Addressing the 15th edition of the Mann ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the nation to address the persons with disabilities as ‘divyaang’, meaning divine body, saying they are endowed with extraordinary power in certain other ways.PM Modi recounted a phone call by Ahmedabad resident Dilip Chauhan telling him how the latter celebrated Accessible India in his school.Dilip Chauhan who is differently-abled expressed his gratitude towards PM Modi on Sunday and said that there are lot of issues disabled people faces everyday but this step towards betterment of differently abled will help us live our lives with much ease. Differently-abled people were also seen celebrating in Kanpur over PM Modi’s appeal to the nation of addressing persons with disabilities as ‘divyaang’.
