Dharamsala, July 29 (ANI): The health department of the Tibetan government in-exile organised an awareness workshop to mark the World Hepatitis Day in Dharamsala. Hepatitis B is a viral infection that attacks the liver and is a prime cause for liver cancer. The virus is spread by contact with the blood or other bodily fluids of an infected person. The event was attended by students and staff members of Central Tibetan Administration (CTA). Like other emerging markets, India is battling to contain healthcare costs and boost the access of drugs to treat diseases such as cancer, HIV/AIDS and hepatitis.
