FDI liberalisation will facilitate additional job creation: Economic Affairs Secretary

New Delhi, June 20 (ANI): Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das on Monday said that the decision on FDI liberalisation today is a follow up of decisions that were taken earlier. He also said that wherever there are regulators in position there is no need for dual clearance by Foreign Investment Promotion Board. Elaborating further, he said that the whole approach is to make it automatic and process-driven. He added that the main outcome of decisions taken will be not only just investment flow but it will facilitate additional job creation and is also an indication that government will continue with the process of reforms and liberalisation.
