Officials removed Harrison Ford’s plane from a Los Angeles golf course on Friday (March 6). The actor crashed his vintage, 1942 single-engine plane there on Thursday (March 05) after the plane leaked fuel and suffered engine failure shortly after take-off. Harrison was injured in the accident, but is expected to make a full recovery.

Documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles has died at age 88. Maysles, who produced films with his brother David, was known for his cinema verite style, that captured subjects in real-life moments. The brothers earned international recognition for 1970’s “Gimmie Shelter,” which followed the Rolling Stones on tour, and 1975’s “Grey Gardens,” a portrait of two reclusive cousins of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis who lived in a ramshackle East Hampton mansion.

Critics have not been kind to “Fish in the Dark,” a new Broadway play by comedian Larry David. The play racked up a record of more than $13.5 million (USD) in advance sales ahead of its opening on Thursday (March 5), but many critics failed to warm to the dark comedy about two sons gathering around the deathbed of their father.

Kanye West and singer Lorde hit up Dior’s Autumn-Winter show at Paris Fashion week. The show was set in the courtyard of the famed Louvre museum. Paris fashion week runs through March 11.
