Geete: Wont Leave Ministry Till Uddhav Directs To Do So
Even after the Shiv Sena has decided to sit in opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly, Union Minister Anant Geete continued to hold on to his position in the ministry saying he was yet to receive any direction from party chief Uddhav Thackeray on the future course of action.

A Cabinet Minister in the NDA government, Geete attended the first Council of Ministers meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the expansion of ministry on Sunday. The Minister for Heavy Industries said he will take any step only after directions from his party Shiv Sena.
On Sunday, the Shiv Sena had boycotted the Cabinet expansion and also asked its leader Anil Desai to come back to Mumbai and not attend the swearing-in of new ministers, even as Desai was himself chosen to be a minister.
