Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Oct 28 (ANI): The Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) workers on Saturday submitted a memorandum to Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over lathicharge by the police authorities in Bhubaneswar. Pradhan said that the state government has failed to provide them their salaries. He also alleged that he will discuss this incident with the Centre and a strict action will be taken against the officers. Nikhil Odisha Gram Rozgar Sevak Sangh (NOGRSS) workers took out a mass rally demanding regularisation of their jobs on Friday. They were shouting anti-government slogans during their protest. Later, the cops resorted to lathicharge to control the crowd. While some members of the Sangh were detained by the cops and scores were injured.
