1. (SOUNDBITE) (English) BRITISH BOXER DAVID HAYE, BEING ASKED “WHY ARE YOU COMING BACK NOW?”, SAYING:

“Unfinished business. You know I’ve achieved many things, I was the undisputed cruiserweight champion, you know, I was the heavyweight champion of the world. I’ve beaten the biggest ever heavyweight champion, Nikolai Valuev, 7 foot 2 (inches), 25 stones. So I’ve achieved great things but I think there’s more to give, I think there are more big fights out there, there are more titles to win. You know, I’d love an opportunity to beat Wladimir Klitschko, you know, I had a go, I lost on points in that fight five years ago so I’d like a chance to do it again, and to do that I’ve got to go through guys like Mark De Mori ‘The Dominator’, 30 wins, 26 knock outs, hasn’t lost in 11 years, he’s a good test for me coming back after 3 and a half years out of the ring.”

STORY: Britain’s former WBA world heavyweight champion David Haye will make his comeback after three years against Australian Mark de Mori on Jan. 16 in London, he announced on Tuesday (November 24).

Haye, who lost his title to Ukraine’s Wladimir Klitschko four years ago, plans eventually to take on fellow Briton Anthony Joshua and then wants another shot at the world title.

Former world heavyweight champion George Foreman tweeted on Saturday that Haye could be the only man who can beat Klitschko, who has not lost for 11 years.

De Mori, 33, who fights out of Croatia, has a record of only one defeat in more than 30 bouts and is in the WBA top 10.
