Heavy cross border shelling forces villagers to flee in panic

Uri (J-K), Feb 25 (ANI): Continuous heavy mortar shelling by Pakistan at the border near Uri sector, has forced the villagers to leave their houses and flee in panic. People living near border areas have no other options than to flee and save their lives. “We appeal the government to help us and provide us some place to live peacefully” said one of the villagers. “We are tired of running”, said another villager. The heavy shelling started on Feb 19 along the Line of Control (LoC). The villagers are taking refuge at migration camps. Indian Army has stepped up to provide relief to the villagers running from their homes amid heavy firing.
