Heavy snow in Ukraine kills two

A deadly snowstorm in Odessa, Ukraine has killed at least two people who were sleeping on the streets.
Temperatures were below -7 degrees Celsius (44.6 Fahrenheit).
Several people suffering from hypothermia and frostbites have been rushed to hospital.
Local authorities have set up tents to provide heating for the homeless and those caught up in snowstorms.
The severe weather has cancelled flights and trains.
But some local teenagers are taking advantage of the heavy snow.
(SOUNDBITE) (Russian) ODESSA RESIDENT, ELENA, SAYING:
“Well, the trail is fine, I almost rolled down. You can see grass in some places and stones in others. However, it is now a ski resort, you have to enjoy what you have.”
At least half a metre of snow has fallen in some parts of the city.
