Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist arrested in J&K’s Bandipora

Bandipora (Jammu & Kashmir) Jan 14 (ANI): In a successful operation, the Indian Army has arrested Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Sarfaraz Ahmed Sheer in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora on Monday. The joint operation was done by CRPF and the police. Several arms and ammunitions along with AK 47 rounds, pistols were recovered. Sheikh Zulfikar Azad, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) said, “A militant, Sarfaraz Ahmed Sheer, who is associated with Hizbul Mujahideen was active in Kupwara, Bandipora and Sopore for five years has been captured today morning. Arms and shields have been recovered from him.” Further recovery will be done from the terrorist.
