I was ‘misquoted’: Yashwant Sinha on his statement on Modi govt
Panaji, Jan 31 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party leader Yashwant Sinha on Sunday criticised the statement published by a leading new agency, saying that he condemns the reporter as the statement has been completely misreported and misunderstood. Sinha, who was invited for a discussion on topic ‘Is dialogue dead’ added that to prove the dialogue is still alive in India, he quoted the emergency period as an example where Indira Gandhi tried to stifle the dialogue process and was taught a lesson by the country. Sinha further said that he never uttered Modi’s name, saying that his government will also suffer the same consequences as of Indira Gandhi.
