India assisted 170 nationals from 15 countries in evacuation from Nepal: MEA – Part – 2

New Delhi, April 28 (ANI): Union Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar on Tuesday said that India assisted 170 nationals from 15 countries in evacuation from Nepal. He added that Land route has become the primary route as it is not affected by the weather and that approximately 4000 people left in 80 buses today. Home Secretary LC Goyal said that 3 NDRF teams reached Nepal and that 3 more teams are reaching, making it a total of 16 teams in Nepal. He added that three ministers will be visiting Bihar soon to assess the situation. Defence Secretary RK Mathur said that 741 Nepali people have been evacuated and relief material of 24 tonne have been distributed.
