India, Russia expanding economic relations: PM Modi

Moscow, Dec 24 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the media at the 16th Annual bilateral Summit in Moscow on Thursday said that the first project under the Make in India project was the signing of cooperation in the field of helicopter engineering.
Prime Minister Modi also stated that India will be making progress on plans for building twelve Russian nuclear reactors at two sites. Russia can be critical source of energy for India as it has one of the largest reserve of hydrocarbons.
Following the last meeting, India and Russia have moved forward with direct trade of uncut diamond between the two countries.
Prime Minister Modi and the Russian President encouraged the private sector in both the countries to connect in a better way.
