Sharing is Caring

Porbandar, April 21 (ANI): India seized over 250 kilograms of heroin from Pakistani drug traffickers aboard a boat on the Arabian Sea on Tuesday. A joint navy and coastguard operation intercepted the vessel in Indian waters on Monday (April 20), apparently headed for Gujarat state. Each packet weighs approximately one kg with a gross internal market value of six billion dollars. The smugglers were using phones and GPS systems to allow trans-shipment to another boat. Eight crew members from Pakistan were detained and were in police custody in Gujarat. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), a specialized police force, said the confiscation of heroin was one of India’s biggest recorded heroin seizures.
