Indians returning from Nepal say situation bad in Kathmandu
Chennai /Guwahati, April 28 (ANI): Indians returning from quake-ravaged Nepal say the situation in capital Kathmandu is very bad as almost everything is flattened.
A fresh batch of Indians arrived in Chennai on a private carrier’s flight. Indian private airlines increased their flights to Kathmandu following improvement in weather. Huge queues have formed at the city’s Tribhuvan International Airport, with tourists and residents desperate to get a flight out. A quake survivor, Jatin narrated the ordeal and aftermath of deadly nature fury. Authorities are trying to cope with a shortage of drinking water, food and electricity, as well as the threat of disease, and the government appealed for international help.Around 20 quake survivors, including two injured, reached Guwahati Airport in Assam
