India’s blind women’s cricket team launched in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Sep 18 (ANI): The Cricket Association for the Blind in India on Sunday launched its blind women cricket team in Bengaluru. Weighing on the success of the Indian blind men cricket team, which have won T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup and T20 Asia Cup, CABI decided to launch women’s team. Giving details, CABI General Secretary John David said that the team has been launched with an aim to empower visually impaired women. According to the sources, the team is expected to be trained by their men counterpart.
