Tamil Nadu, Sep 15 (ANI): A school dropout, M Sahulhameed of Rameswaram, has constructed a ‘moving type house’, using raft foundation technology. Sahulhameed who drew the ire of his family and was mocked at by many as mentally imbalanced, stood steadfast in giving shape to his innovation, a ‘moving type house’. A Class-5 dropout, M .Sahulhameed of Melapudukkudi in Ramanathapuram district worked in a construction company in Saudi Arabia for more than two decades when he learnt making prefabricated structures and various foundation technologies for building houses. M .Sahulhameed put his passion to test by laying this 1,080 sq ft ground plus first floor house at Melapudukkudi. The house with three bed rooms on the ground floor and two on the first floor could be moved using iron rollers underneath the slab. Engineers from Rameshwaram, Ramanathapuram, Devakottai, Karaikudi, Madurai and other places are visiting this unique house and applauding his innovation.
