Investigation would be done on Jayanti Natarajan’s allegations: Environment Minister

New Delhi, Jan 30 (ANI): Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar on Friday said that the revelations made by Jayanthi Natarajan regarding the Environment Ministry are a matter of grave concern and he would review the specific files mentioned in Jayanthi’s letter. In a major embarrassment for the Congress party Jayanthi Natarajan, who was sacked as Environment minister three months ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha polls has apparently blasted the leadership of Rahul Gandhi in a letter sent to party chief Sonia Gandhi. According to reports, the minister is likely to quit the party days ahead of the Delhi Assembly polls. Natarajan alleges the interference by Rahul Gandhi resulted in her being made the scapegoat for the government’s failed attempts to revive the inert economy.
