JD(U), BJP play blame game over law and order situation in Bihar
New Delhi/Patna, Dec 28 (ANI): Janata Dal (United) leader KC Tyagi on Monday said that the allegations being made by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regarding the law and order situation in the state is only a reaction to the elections that the latter lost in Bihar. JD (U) leader Pawan Varma echoed similar sentiments saying the BJP had stooped to the level of playing myopic opportunistic politics. He further added that the Nitish Kumar government condemned any sort of crime and would take all necessary actions to curb it. BJP leader Nand Kishore Yadav believed that the rising crime rates in Bihar was a result of the increasing confidence in criminals as they feel they would get protection from the administration. He stated that the law and order situation in Bihar had deteriorated and people were losing their faith in the government.
