Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), Apr 26, (ANI): Meraj-ul-Alam was celebrated with religious fervor in Kashmir yesterday, with thousands of people offering their prayers to Allah. To celebrate the occasion people from all over Kashmir and even outside thronged Srinagar’s Hazratbal shrine yesterday so as to devote night long prayers. Every year thousands of devotees, be it men, women or children visit the various shrines across the state so as to offer their prayers. Looking at the current condition in the valley, the devotees at the Hazratbal shrine, this year decided to pray for peace and brotherhood among the people.During this festival, people pray to Allah and the afterwards turn emotional and cannot not control their tears while having a look at the holy relic of Prophet Muhammad.
