Kashmiri Pandits protest demanding rehabilitation
Jammu, July 14 (ANI): In the wake of ongoing unrest in Kashmir, Kashmiri Pandit employees, who have been posted under the Prime Minister’s package in the Valley, on Thursday protested outside the Relief Commissioner’s office in Jammu, demanding rehabilitation. Giving details, a protestor said that they demand rehabilitation space till the time peace returns in the Valley. The employees raised slogans demanding justice and stressed that on the name of militant the minority community is being harassed, adding that their houses got damaged in the ongoing Kashmir protest. Meanwhile, the relief commissioner RK Pandita has asked the protesting employees to submit a memorandum and has assured that their grievances will be heard. A total of 1,673 employees have been employed under the Prime Minister’s package.
