Lady Gaga to headline Super Bowl
The Super Bowl half time show is often more talked about than the game itself – and this year Lady Gaga will perform.
The Grammy-award winning singer announced the show on twitter – confirming rumours that she would perform.
The NFL also tweeted their excitement over the news.
This will actually be the second time Lady Gaga has performed at the Super Bowl.
She opened the game last year with a performance of the American national anthem.
But this will be the first time she’s taking to the stage for the half time show.
The Super Bowl is the most-watched event on U.S. television – drawing more than 100 million viewers every year as well as huge performers.
Stars including Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and Madonna have performed in the last few years.
Lady Gaga will perform at the game in Houston, Texas which is scheduled to take place on February 5, 2017.
