New Delhi, April 20 (ANI): The controversial Land Ordinance was tabled in the Lok Sabha on Monday by Union Minister of State for Skill Development Rajiv Pratap Rudy amid uproar from the Opposition. The controversial bill could not be converted into a law in the first half of the Budget session due to opposition in Rajya Sabha, where the government does not have requisite numbers, and was re-promulgated on April 3- a day before it was to lapse. Other key legislations to be passed during the second half of the budget session are the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Bill and the Constitution Amendment Bill for introduction of Goods and Services Tax (GST). While the Lok Sabha reconvenes today, the Rajya Sabha will begin on Thursday.
