Sharing is Caring

Bengaluru, Jan 20 (ANI): In face of stiff disapproval from public and medical fraternity, the Karnataka government has decided to withdraw the “controversial” 8% luxury tax on patients treated in intensive care units in state’s hospitals. Karnataka health minister UT Khader said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has requested the finance department to withdraw the tax. He added that ICU is a necessity and not luxury.
